Broken Wheat Payasam Recipe

Ingredients Broken Wheat Payasam:

  1. 1 cup Broken Wheat (daliya)
  2. 2 tbsp Yellow Moong Dal (optional)
  3. 2 tbsp Ghee
  4. 1 tsp Cardamom Powder
  5. 1 tbsp Fresh coconut pieces
  6. as required Cashews and Raisins
  7. 3/4 cup Jaggery
  8. 1.5 cup Coconut Milk

How to cook Broken Wheat Payasam:

  1. Heat a pressure cooker with a tbsp of ghee. Roast the broken wheat and moong dal for a minute. Pour 2 cup of water and cook for 3-4 whistles.

  2. Take another pan with jaggery and half a cup of water. Boil the jaggery until dissolved completely.
    When cool
