Chicken Biryani Recipe

Ingredients Chicken Biryani:

  1. 750 gram Basmati Rice
  2. 500 gram chicken pieces(medium sized)
  3. 1 cup fried /browned onion
  4. 1 cup plain yogurt
  5. 4-5 tablespoon oil
  6. 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  7. 1 bunch mint leaves
  8. 4 eggs hard boiled
  9. 3 green chilies thinly sliced
  10. 2 star anise
  11. Juice of 2 lemons
  12. 1 inch cinnamon stick
  13. 1 teaspoon garam masala powder
  14. 2 teaspoon red chilli powder
  15. 1 teaspoon black cumin
  16. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  17. to taste Salt
  18. 1 tablespoon Biryani Masala powder
  19. 2 Bay leaves

How to cook Chicken Biryani:

  1. Rinse rice with few changes of water and soak for 30 minutes.

  2. Then boiled rice and drain all excess water. Set aside

  3. Place chicken in a large bowl.

  4. Add yogurt and ginger garlic paste

  5. Mix well and marinate for 30 minutes.

  6. Heat oil in a cooking pot.

  7. Temper with star anise
