Chocolate cake Recipe

Ingredients Chocolate cake:

  1. 3/4 c Salted butter
  2. 2 1/2 c Cake flour
  3. 2tsp Baking powder
  4. 1/2 tsp Baking soda
  5. 1/2tsp Salt
  6. 3 Eggs separated; room temp
  7. 3 oz Melted unsweetened chocolate
  8. Frosting
  9. 1 lb Semi-sweet chocolate chips
  10. 2 tb Salted butter
  11. 5 tb Milk
  12. 2 tbsp Cream
  13. For flowers and leaves
  14. 1 cup whipped cream
  15. Pink food colour
  16. Green food colour (as required)

How to cook Chocolate cake:

  1. Preheat oven to 375. Lightly butter 2 9-inch cake pans with 2 tablespoons butter. Dust with 1/4 cup flour. Shake out excess.

  2. Mix together remaining 2 1/4 cups flour with baking powder
