Jaggery-Carrots Jarda Recipe

Ingredients Jaggery-Carrots Jarda:

  1. 1 cup Jaggery grated or to taste
  2. 2 Coconut grated medium spoons
  3. 2 cup Rice soaked
  4. 2 tablespoon Ghee
  5. 1/4 cup Cashewnuts
  6. 1/4 cup Raisins
  7. 4 Cloves
  8. 1/4 teaspoon Green cardamom powder
  9. 1/4 cup Dry coconut (khopra) grated
  10. 2 tbps Melon seeds
  11. As needed Different permitted food colours

How to cook Jaggery-Carrots Jarda:

  1. Wash and Grate Carrots and keep aside.Dissolve jaggery in one cup water.

  2. Soak Rice in Water for an hour or so.Microwave grated carrots for three minutes.Boil rice and keep aside.

  3. In a pan add ghee and when ghee melts add fennel seeds
