Sogo(sabudana) Vada Recipe

Ingredients Sogo(sabudana) Vada:

  1. 1 cup sogo (sabudana)
  2. 4 boiled & mashed potatoes
  3. 1/2 cup gram roasted peanuts
  4. 1 tsp jeera
  5. 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  6. 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
  7. 2 chopped green chilies
  8. 2 tsp curry leaves
  9. 2 tbsp chopped coriander leaves
  10. 1 tbsp lemon juice
  11. to taste salt
  12. oil for deep frying

How to cook Sogo(sabudana) Vada:

  1. Soak sogo for 30 minutes in warm water.

  2. Mashed the boiled potatoes with masher.

  3. Now add salt & mix well.

  4. Grate 3/4 part of roasted peanutes.

  5. Now add roasted peanuts& grated peanuts.

  6. Add all the ingredients with curry leaves & coriander leaves.mix well.

  7. Now add lemon juice.

  8. Drain out the water from sogo in a stainer& add sogo to it.Mix bhi well

  9. Add rice flour & mix well.

  10. Knead it in to a dough & make balls out of it.

  11. Take one balls on ur palm& flatten it.

  12. Do same with rest of the balls.

  13. Heat oil in a karahi.

  14. Deep fry the tikkies till they become golden in colour.

  15. Take them out on a tissue paper to absorb excess oil.

  16. Serve hot with bread or pav.
